From time to time, we post articles regarding scams that target our community. In late March, the Federal Trade Commission issued a notice to all U.S. citizens. A fake COVID vaccine survey is a trick to steal your personal information and your money.
Here is how it works: you receive an email or text asking you to complete a survey about the Pfizer, Moderna, or AstraZeneca vaccine. In return for your response, a free reward is offered, but you must pay shipping fees.
It is a scam! No legitimate survey or opinion poll asks for your bank account or credit card information to receive a “free reward.”
