QuRon Simms was on his motorcycle when he exited State Highway 121 onto Hardwood Road. While traveling northbound on the service road, Simms was struck from behind by a black Hyundai car.
Not only did the driver of the Hyundai not stop, after impact he drove over Simms and his motorcycle, dragging both a short distance. Simms suffered serious injuries but miraculously survived.
Through a tip from the public, Bedford police arrested 22-year old Kannon Bryce Taylor, the alleged driver of the Hyundai. He now faces a third degree felony charge of an accident involving injury or death.
